To the FIFA President, FIFA Council, and the 2026 World Cup Host Nations:

We, the Persians (Iranians) and citizens of the free world, formally demand the immediate expulsion of the Islamic Republic of Iran's national football team from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The beautiful game of football must not be used to 'sportswash' the blood of the Persians.

The Islamic Republic does not represent the 90 million Persians. 

It is an occupying, terrorist regime that uses international sporting events to normalize its brutal existence and cover up its crimes against humanity.

Allowing this regime to participate is a direct violation of FIFA’s own Statutes (Article 3 and Article 4) regarding human rights and non-discrimination.

The regime systematically discriminates against women, banning or severely restricting them from entering stadiums, and executes young athletes who stand for basic freedoms.

The 2026 World Cup, hosted by three great democracies (USA, Canada, Mexico), must not be stained by the presence of a regime that sponsors global terrorism and massacres its own youth.

We urge FIFA to ban the Islamic Republic immediately and replace it with a deserving, democratic nation—such as Italy or Israel—or the next qualifying team, to ensure the tournament remains a celebration of peace, unity, and true sportsmanship.

Stand with the Persians.
