With a united peninsula effort – Millers Point Community Action Group, Walsh Bay Precinct residents, and One Sydney Harbour – we can send a powerful message to decision-makers: Ban the Hoons from Barangaroo.

Friday 18 July – Hickson Road:
110 vehicles stopped
100 RBTs, 5 drug tests
2 defect notices, 4 traffic infringements, 2 licence suspensions
3 arrests for drink driving (2 charged)
Saturday 19 July – Hickson Road:
175 vehicles stopped
155 RBTs, 15 drug tests
32 vehicles referred to EPA for noise pollution
16 traffic infringements, 2 parking infringements, 4 defect notices, 1 licence suspension
1 drink driving offence, 1 positive drug driving offence
Next steps: Highway Patrol will maintain weekend presence and a portable police camera will be installed when available.

Police presence is a relief – but our next goal is to be prioritised for permanent Noise Cameras once council trials are complete.
