The Issue

Yesterday’s tragedy with the passing of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre silva brought together football fans from around the world. Rivalries put aside to remember the great player and person Diogo Jota was. Diogo was loved by Liverpool and Wolves fans from around the world and he will be forever in our hearts. Diogo and Andre’s family must be feeling something none of us ever want to feel and the whole world sends their love and prayers to them.

Unfortunately, with tragedy comes the opportunity for people to profit from such disasters. The Daily Mail posted pictures of the car wreckage within hours of the news breaking Diogo and Andres passing. They also published photographs of Diogo’s wife outside the mortuary which I and many other see it as nothing short of disgusting.

After speaking to a couple of fans I feel it should be a chance for us Wolves fans and Liverpool fans to say enough is enough of the press profiteering from tragedies and call for the Daily Mail to be banned from coming to Molineux stadium and the whole of Liverpool.

My thoughts and prayers go to Diogo and Andre’s family and friends at this horrific time.
We all love you Diogo
