"Over the past few months, we have pressed hard for total transparency from the Wildwood Trust, local representatives, and decision-makers. The response? Local MPs have hidden behind constituency boundary rules, and formal channels have left critical questions unanswered about the final days of the pack.
Even major advocates and public figures have gone quiet, leaving us to realize a harsh truth: no one is going to hand us accountability. We have to force it.
With the ICO administrative route completed and local doors shut, our focus shifts entirely to the systemic changes that matter most. We are not backing down on our three core demands:
Mandatory Sanctuary Outreach: Legally requiring zoos to prove they contacted specialist sanctuaries before opting to euthanize healthy or treatable animals for behavioral reasons.
Independently Audited Records: Opening 6-monthly welfare and management logs to real, independent oversight.
Structured Transition Frameworks: Ensuring proper pathways exist for apex predators instead of letting management breakdowns end in tragedy.
