I noticed recently that I see a lot of Which is Better? Shein or Temu? posts. Whether that be social media, or just searching it up on Google. This just added to my rage of the stupidity of the argument. We should not be shopping at either. The argument should be about which company we need to get rid of first. 

Now, I haven't looked in the specifics of which company has better products or more ethical than the other. But I do see a lot of similarities in both Temu and Shein of child slavery in the factories, workers underpaid and overworked, workers having to beg for help through printing it on clothing tags. Being the biggest fast fashion corporations and most of their low-quality and toxic, chemically treated plastic rubbish falling in landfill and oceans every day, 320,000 tons of Temu slop going into landfill from 2026 alone.

Responses I see from fast fashion loving consumers can come in a few varieties. 'It's cheap and all I can afford' 'I didn't know' (But still continues to order from Temu/Shein) Maybe even a blunt 'I don't care' But it doesn't matter the excuse. Delete your Shein hauls videos from TikTok, stop ordering useless junk and toxic clothing items from these unethical business's that will make innocent people's lives, and the Earth's natural beauty, for the worse.  Yes, I understand that other big brand companies do these things too, (and I would totally recommend you make a petition to take action against other controversal brands/companies) But these online sites are the worst of it and are getting out of control, we can make a difference to at least get restrictions and regulations of Temu/Shein shipping in Australia, raise more awareness, or to make people stop buying from these companies. Every little thing counts to the goal of banning these sites from shipping to Australia, then the rest of the world.

Stop the Temu vs Shein wars and start taking action to ban both.
