The Park La Brea Residents Association applauds the fact that Park La Brea is on the way to becoming a smoke-free community. We’d like to encourage management to help that effort by immediately removing the smoking areas from Burnside Circle & Alandele Circle and officially declaring both circles and Curson Square smoke-free zones. All three parks are constantly used by children, people exercising and people dining - and they have a right to do those activities in a smoke-free environment. There are other designated smoking areas on the property away from these heavily-used common areas that can be utilized.
