Hi friends, It's been a while since you've heard from me but I'm still working to get the shock devices used at the Judge Rotenberg Center banned by the FDA. Right now we have a huge opportunity. Until May 25, the FDA is accepting comments on newly proposed regulation to ban shock devices like those used at the Judge Rotenberg Center. Go to www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=FDA-2016-N-1111-0001 and click the Comment Now button to submit your comment. A sample email is at the bottom of this update. They need to hear from you. This short, online article gives the simple instructions on how to comment http://patch.com/massachusetts/canton/fda-proposes-ban-electric-shock-devices-used-cantons-infamous-judge-rotenberg-center Thank you, Greg Sample Comment: Dear FDA, Thank you for your proposal to ban Electrical Stimulation Devices such as those used at the Canton, MA Judge Rotenberg Center. Please follow through with the ban. Over 188,000 people have signed a petition in support of you banning these devices. Using shock devices on vulnerable people with disabilities is wrong, cruel, and unnecessary. Please take into account that nearly 200,000 people are in favor of your proposed regulation to ban these torturous and unworkable devices that are generally used on a very vulnerable sector of society, those with Self-Injurious Behavior and Aggressive Behavior.
