Roy Chubby Brown is due to perform at the Platform in Morecambe on the 19th of August 2022. 

He is infamous for his insulting comedy. Part of his acts is outwardly racist, homophobic, and misogynistic.

This gig is organised by Lancaster City Council, and its venue The Platform. This means it is at the expense of the taxpayers in the Lancaster City area. Allowing RCB to perform when many residents are from communities his humour denigrates is wholly unacceptable and morally bankrupt.

This petition coincides with a 2021 campaign to ban RCB from performing at a concert in Sheffield.

We are calling the council to ban the performance immediately, and ban any future performances
