Pakistan has been financing terrorism in India for decades and same has been accepted many a times by international institutions like UNSC & FATF. Be it 1993 serial bomb blasts of Mumbai, Parliament attack of 2001, the attacks of 26/11 Mumbai, or heinous suicide attack on the CRPF bus in Pulwama, Pakistan has been financing and orchestrating terrorism on Indian soil with impunity. 

On 9 June 2024, several unidentified terrorists opened fire on a passenger bus boarded by Hindu pilgrims travelling from the Shiv Khori cave to Katra, Reasi causing it to lose control and plummet into a deep gorge, followed by further firing at the crashed bus by the gunmen. As a result of this 10 Hindu pilgrims including women and children lost their lives and 41 got severely injured. According to the local police this attack was carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terrorist group formed and based in Pakistan.

In the wake of these recent attacks in Jammu & Kashmir we request government of India to cut off all types of cash flow from India to Pakistan. In recent years there has been a flood of Pakistani YouTube channels targeting Indian audiences. These YouTube channels are not only making money through ad revenue but also receiving huge sums via various YouTube features such as 'Super Chat' and 'Channel Memberships'. A fraction of money earned by these Pakistani YouTube channels goes to Pakistani government in the form of taxes and then in turn used to finance terrorism on Indian soil by the Pakistani Establishment or the Deep State.

Hence we unequivocally request government of India to make provisions to ban Monetization, Super Chat and Channel Memberships of Pakistani YouTubers in India with immediate effect. The logic here is quite simple; Indian citizens must not be paying money (directly or indirectly) to the citizens of a country that finances terrorism in India. So the government of India must direct Google to disable all monetization features for Pakistani YouTube channels in India with immediate effect.
