Ban non recyclable wrapping paper.

The Issue

Each year, 227,000 miles of wrapping paper ends up in landfill due to poor waste management. This contributes to pollution from greenhouse gas emissions, loss of habitats, and damage to both human and wildlife health.

I propose a ban on the sale and manufacturing of non recyclable wrapping paper.

Meaning all 227,000 miles of wrapping paper can end up being reused and recycled making the future a greener and an environmentally friendly one, moving us closer to our carbon neutral pledge.

Wrapping paper manufacturing can easily adjust to this as the only difference will be no shine to the paper.
