Permission is being sought by Bayview Golf Club  to develop a 5 acre, 7 building, 3 storey , 85 apartment complex in the middle of a designated high priority wildlife corridor, on flood prone land where flood mitigation works are prohibited, on land which is bushfire prone, has geotechnical hazards, is a Coastal Management Wetland area, with at least 9 endangered species using it has habitat, sitting on a rural road which has 2 NSW black spots on it and the need to remove  249 mature trees with hollows , being the feeding & nesting grounds for local vulnerable fauna such as microbats and  powerful owls.

Many in the local & wider community of over 76,500 people suggest this is an “overdevelopment “ as determined previously  by The Sydney North Planning Panel when similar plans were  “ refused” in late 2018.
