Don't stop taking actions for Palestine! 

After we saw that the International Federation of Sport Climbing IFSC had sanctioned the Russian and Belarus athletes two weeks after the Russian invasion on Ukraine. Calling that as an effort to end the war on Ukrainians. While the UIAA announced their sanctions after one month from the Ukraine war, asking the authorities to avoid promote Russia or the feats of Russian climbers.

It has been more than 10 months since the aggressive war started on Gaza. Two million Palestinians are living unimaginable time. Israel killed at least 40000 Palestinian civilians. Gaza is a place which has been called the world's largest open-air prison for the past 20 years, with conditions akin to concentration camp or Ghetto. Now there is a genocide taking in place. According to the world's leading medical journal Luncet, Israel have been directly and indirectly responsible for over 186,000 deaths since the war started.

While in the West Bank, there is an increase in land theft, home demolitions, illegal arrests without charges, torture of captives, settlers violence, and assassinations on a daily basis.

Regarding to climbing; The Palestinian climbing community (Wadi Palestine) had two female climbers who got arrested by Israel for three months without being charged , one of them declared she received physical and psychological abuse during prison. And another male climber and film maker was arrested for six months without any charges while crossing the Israeli border to travel abroad. Moreover, Palestinian climbers have been under threat in three climbing areas by criminal Israeli settlers, supported by IDF soldiers. One of the climbing spots is Burqa that is in danger to be stolen by Israeli criminal settlers. https://www.wadipalestine.org/blog

The list of Israel crimes and violations against international law are not enough to mention here. we ask to take the opportunity of sanctioning Israeli climbers. As we know that their climbers joined the IDF, and highly expected some of them joined one of the military operations in the Gaza strip, or the West Bank.

That's why we call the IFSC to take a stance against Israel regarding the violation of human rights, by suspending/boycotting their climbers, and cutting off sponsorships to the Israeli Climbers association.
