Here is an update on Eurovision i Malmö 2024.

Yesterday Swedish police held a press conference where they stated that Swedish police will get extra support from armed police from nearby countries Norway and Denmark during the week Eurovision Song Contest will be held. That is a sweet extra cost for everyone paying taxes in Sweden residing in Malmö, f*ck you very much Israel. This would never have been the case if the EBU simply said NO to having Israel in the competition. 

I think it is awful that regular taxpaying citizens in Sweden should have to pay for the EBU´s audacity and complete lack of understanding of the world outside Eurovision. White privilege much?

And, the police has also said that there has been several different organizations that has applied to have permission to have peaceful protests against Israels participation in ESC as well as protests for a FREE PALESTINE!

But today I read that someone also has applied for a permit to burn the Quran during the same week, in Malmö. So, as of now the police in Malmö have a application for a Quran burning waiting to be or not to be allowed to take place. What the actual F!? It is up to the regional police in Malmö to decide if the permit will clear or not.

As some of you know, Sweden has had severe problems with the way white supremacists are misusing the Swedish laws of "freedom of speech" and that the police have on several occasions given out permits for trolls such as Rasmus Paludan and Salwan Momika to burn the holy book of the Quran. The way I see it, is that all they do is fulfilling the work for far right wing to further strengthen the narrative that muslims are savages and violent for reacting to this vile and horrid action.

Because of this Sweden and Swedes has been targeted in different ways, one of them being the incident in Brussels and in Sweden we have a "terror scale" where 5 is the highest and due to these burnings we have been on a 4 for quite som time.
