First of all, thank you to each and everyone signing, promotion and sharing this petition.

Yesterday I sent out an e-mail with a copy of the signature list and comment sections from this petition to Swedish media reporting on Eurovision.

Not sure if they’ll do anything with it thou, since Swedish evening papers Expressen and Aftonbladet has been very bias and silent about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. They’ll probably write more about it in Swedish media in 10 years and pretend that they “didn’t know” about the heinous war crimes Israel was committing.

And when it comes to the Swedish public service company SVT it is an accomplish when it comes to allowing Israels participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

I feel sick knowing my tax money will be used to promote Israel in Malmoe.

In the neighboring country Norway protests outside their public service network NRK has been very active.

 I’m quoting Eurovision fun here:

”Activities against Israel continue today in Oslo, for a second week in a row, when a few moments before the second heat of Melodi Grand Prix began tonight, a couple of hundred protesters showed up outside NRK.

Protesters held white bultar, which is supposed to symbolize Palestinian parents and siblings calling for the killing of Palestinian children. They demand that Israel be banned from the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The petition “Exclude Israel from Eurovision“, created by the Norwegiansinger and artist Marthe Valle, has almost 18.900 signatures.”

For those of you who don’t know, in some countries there are several weeks of competition to finally find someone to be chosen to be the one representing the country In Eurovision.

As so in Sweden, there will be weeks of shows with several opportunities to protest against Israel!

Stay vocal, stand for Palestine and show the world that we will not give up until Israel is excluded and banned from the ESC (and every other civilized community, music, sports, arts).
