Ban Evolution Gaming and Hold Governments Accountable for Enabling Manipulative Practices

As online gambling continues to grow at an alarming rate, one company has risen to dominate the market: Evolution Gaming. This massive provider operates games that thousands, if not millions, of people participate in daily, with many falling into the trap of addiction. The situation has reached a critical point where governments, instead of protecting their citizens, are reaping the benefits through gambling taxes while turning a blind eye to the exploitation.

Governments claim they are committed to fighting gambling addiction, but their actions speak otherwise. How can they genuinely care about the welfare of vulnerable individuals when they continue to allow companies like Evolution Gaming to flourish? The simple truth is that these governments are deeply invested in the tax revenues generated by these companies. And by prioritizing profits over protection, they leave thousands of people exposed to financial ruin.

Evolution Gaming, with its near-monopoly, uses its position to manipulate games and increase their profits. The outcomes seem rigged, with countless players reporting the same experiences of losing unfairly. Yet, despite mounting complaints, authorities refuse to take meaningful action. Why? Because they benefit from the system, profiting off of players’ losses while making empty promises to "combat gambling addiction."

It's time for this hypocrisy to end. Governments need to be held accountable for enabling these manipulative practices. They cannot continue to turn a blind eye while profiting from the destruction of people's lives. The gambling industry needs to be reined in, starting with Evolution Gaming.

We demand the following:

1 --> End government complicity: Governments must stop hiding behind false promises of tackling gambling addiction while profiting from it. They need to establish stricter regulations that prioritize player protection over tax revenues.
2 --> Better awareness campaigns: Governments should be required to launch mandatory awareness campaigns for all new gamblers, educating them on the risks of addiction before they even place their first bet.
3 --> Stricter oversight of gambling providers: Companies like Evolution Gaming should be subject to rigorous, independent audits to ensure fair play and prevent manipulative practices. When irregularities are found, penalties should be severe enough to deter future violations.
4 --> Introduce limits on bets: Gambling platforms must set clear and reasonable betting limits to prevent people from losing more than they can afford, especially in high-risk games like those offered by Evolution Gaming.
5 --> Transparency and accountability: Players deserve transparency regarding how games operate and what mechanisms are in place to ensure fairness. Companies should be forced to disclose odds and any practices that may influence game outcomes.

Evolution Gaming’s monopoly and manipulative behavior cannot continue unchecked. And governments, instead of benefiting from the exploitation of their citizens, must step up to protect them.
