Ear cropping is an outdated and cruel procedure that inflicts unnecessary pain and suffering on animals. **Why Ear Cropping Should Be Illegal:**

1. **Unnecessary Pain and Suffering:** Ear cropping is a surgical procedure typically performed on puppies between the ages of 6 to 12 weeks. This process involves cutting and shaping the dog's ears, often without adequate pain relief. The procedure is painful, and the recovery process can be long and uncomfortable for the animal.
