Manon Dixon left the below comment today 30 September. I would love to reach out to her. Does anyone on here know how I can contact her or pass on my email teresa.green@ban-data-centres-epping-forest.co.uk to her to contact me. She is a Loughton resident...

As the daughter of the late Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Otto—a forest scientist renowned throughout Europe for his pioneering work in close-to-nature forestry—I view the proposed Loughton AI data centre with profound, scientifically grounded alarm.
As I grew up looking at nature through a scientific lense I can clearly see the deteriorating state of the forest.
It is a fragile ecosystem under tremendous strain from recent droughts, pollution, and climate change. The damage is highly visible: year by year, the canopy is dramatically thinning, invasive diseases and pests are visibly ravaging the foliage, and destructive fungi are actively attacking the tree stems.
Forest science proves that the survival of an ancient woodland depends entirely on preserving its natural microclimate and fragile water table. Constructing the UK’s largest data centre just a few miles away—a massive industrial facility that generates intense heat and strains local water aquifers—will push this already vulnerable ecosystem past its tipping point. This is a time to heal our ancient forests, not endanger them with high-impact technology. Please, please don't bend to the pressure of tech giants but consider protecting one of these extremely rare woodlands we have left in the Uk.
We have destroyed so much already. Please don't continue.
