Ban Conversion Therapy in the UK

The Issue

LGBTQA+ people have nothing to be ashamed of and there is nothing wrong or broken about who we are. Our sexual orientations and gender identities are diverse and should be celebrated. Yet conversion practices are still legal in the UK today.

The Government in the UK have failed to acknowledge the consequences of all forms of Conversion Therapy and despite several attempts to stop this they are a still failing us. Now is the time for this to stop.

Our current production of But I’m a Cheerleader running at The Turbine Theatre at Battersea Power Station shines a spotlight on this issue and we want to use the show’s success to evoke real change.
