Ban ClassPass from your Yoga or Fitness studio

Ban ClassPass from your Yoga or Fitness studio
The Issue
ClassPass has ruined small business fitness and yoga studios. It’s time that we fought back. They take 50% of services and now they are requiring us to offer “first class free,” to cover their business costs when we are the ones paying the rent, utilities, payroll, taxes and all merchant costs!
They pay studios pennies for the classes and services that we offer and expect us to offer free and discounted services, using us to build their marketing business.
Once we unite and stop allowing them to reduce/eliminate our profit, we will once again be profitable businesses.
Over the years, ClassPass has reshuffled its business model and endured a down round while alienating studios and subscribers on both sides of its marketplace. Along the way, there have been plenty of questions about whether or not their model was sustainable.
In theory. ClassPass users get discounts on fitness classes, studios get new customers, and the company takes a cut.
In practice. Studios have seen their piece of the pie shrink, users are hooked on artificially low prices, and ClassPass has become tge greedy middleman.
