Hi everyone, I wanted to make a quick update to share some sad news, our future plans and my head shave campaign To start, the BC Government has cancelled this years Fall Session in the Legislature. This means we will have to wait even longer to have Andrew Weaver present our petition in the Legislature. It's quite unfortunate, but it's what's happening, so we'll have to deal with it and move forward. Like I stated in the last update, we are going to focus on getting in contact with Norm Letnick, the BC Minister of Agriculture. I plan to have a "Contact Storm", where we work tirelessly emailing, phoning, and posting on Norm's social media platforms to get in contact with him and hear his opinion on battery cages. I will post a preparation update for this sometime in the near future, along with an update for when we follow through with this "Contact Storm"! I look forward to conducting this with you all! And now to close with a request: I am shaving my head to raise money for cancer research! I know this has nothing to do with banning battery cages, but I also know you are all extremely generous people, hence why you are here fighting for animals! I hope there's some of you that will consider donating to my campaign. I've set a goal to raise $1000, which is a pretty hefty goal, but if many of you reading this chip in, I could surpass my goal in no time! All the money goes toward helping young kids with cancer, and conducting cancer research to find a cure!
