I am a big fan of college football and dislike how NIL is changing it. The introduction of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals has dramatically altered the landscape of college sports. While these deals provide athletes with opportunities to profit from their hard work, allowing them to sign deals with companies associated with rival universities undermines the spirit of competition and loyalty that makes college sports special.

Athletes representing one university should not be signing deals with a brand already connected with another university. Most of the time, this leads to a player leaving their college for the money at another. We need clear regulations to preserve the integrity of collegiate athletics.
