Twitters official policy explicitly states that animal torture or killing may be acceptable if it’s for religious sacrifices, this is not acceptable and is not an acceptable justification. 

firstly, any animal abuse/killing video could be defended by stating it’s a religious sacrifice, which essentially allows all and any kind of violence against animals to be accepted on Twitter

secondly, there is no excuse in modern day society to sacrifice animals for any religious reason, causing unnecessary torture or killing of animals should be banned from social media, full stop.

I am calling on Twitter to change this policy and ban any kind of animal abuse videos regardless of the reason being religious or not.
