The construction of ai datacenters is useless and quite frankly, disruptive to everyone else. There is no use for these other than to make the already rich money!  Every single prompt used to generate anything wastes a bottle of water. Yes, the same water we use to cook, clean, and drink. That water. The freshwaters that these data centers use get so hot that they kill fish, plants, animals, and bugs! Even more troubling is that the water gets contaminated with harsh chemicals, too, making it unsafe to drink for anyone!! Ai is not the future, it’s a world where people like you and me will live under the thumb of another. Plants are bulldozed. Water is wasted. Our power and electricity bills will continue to increase due to forces beyond our control. That space, the money that goes towards these projects, could go towards homeless shelters, food drives, or actually improving the God-awful education system, or making safe shelters for those seeking sanctuary. This is NOT the pinnacle of humanity.

Personally, I hate ai with such a burning passion that it has entailed me to create this petition. The value of human made efforts has been squandered due to the pilfering of those who are callous enough to not care of the suffering that it entails. It has infiltrated nearly every single field. Corporations are replacing humans with ai, and wondering why people think it sucks. Then, people are wondering why they can’t find a job.
