Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are upset because they have been denied benefits that they have looked forward to since their freshman year of high school. The 10-10-10 rule has taken away senior privilege and senior parking from these hard working students just because they were tardy or absent despite having a valid excuse.

I propose senior privilege and senior parking be reinstated to students who have sustained a GPA of 3.0 throughout their high school career. Additionally, the 10-10-10 rule should be abolished and these benefits should be awarded to students who perform well academically.
