I baked a cake for you, bought you flowers… as heart breaking as it is that you are not here, I’m going to celebrate you still, as you are my gift. You made me a Mum! 

But such a beautiful coincidence that today, for the first time, you and the agenda we have been working for, was formally mentioned in the NWRCC meeting today. The process has been discussed and the legislation is in the works to be drafted.

Workplace Relations Minister Amanda Rishworth's press release about today's National Workplace Relations Consultative Council meeting includes the planned changes for stillbirth and early infant death:

"Today’s meeting provided an opportunity for the Government to consult and provide an update on key commitments including: 

· amending the Fair Work Act 2009 to guarantee that working parents dealing with stillbirth and early infant death can continue to access employer-paid parental leave"
