We just wanted to update you that after the cabinet reshuffle we spoke to new Workplace Relations Minister Amanda Rishworth's team yesterday, and confirmed that

- her team has already discussed the matter
- it is a high priority, and an absolute commitment, for her to make the changes to parental leave in the event of still birth or early infant death
- ⁠drafting the legislation will be commenced shortly but may take a little time.

We will update you again when we have more information, such as a definite timeline for the legislation.
