The Public Hearing on May 3rd was largely directed to Affordable Housing instead of the consequences of another shopping center and affects on building on this sensitive Watershed area. Top environmentalists, spoke on the negative impact the Gateway PDD will have on the Bridgehampton area. Included was Traffic engineer, Steve Schneider, who spoke on behalf of B.A.N. and relayed the traffic devastation impact of this PDD on the already horrific traffic congestion across from Bridgehampton Commons.
