The Australian wool industry produces excessive amounts of wool through inhumane practices and cruelty. Here, the wool process doesn't involve only shearing of fleece but also abusing these voiceless.

They just want to make profit. For this, they can go to any extent.

• Shearers punch the sheep with their shears or fists till the time the sheep's nose starts bleeding. 
• They chop off their tail beforehand. They believe that this helps in easy shearing of the fleece.
• Male lambs are castrated when they are around 2—8 months old and that too without anesthetics. This is done either by making an incision and cutting their testicles out or by using a rubber ring to cut off the blood supply. This is the most painful castration!
• They are not fed adequate amount of nutrition. Also, sheep are all kept piled up in a small area due to which they are infected by many diseases. All this leads to death.

Why are they doing all this? Wool can be sheared in a peaceful and humane manner too. These untrained shearers are turning the wool industry into a slaughterhouse, and that too the cruelest one! 

We must take strict actions to stop this abuse before it's too late to decide. Our small steps can change the world.
