We must stop the senseless destruction of Tasmanias unique temperate rainforests and associated ecosystems. Forests are being logged and chipped to send overseas.

Not even to use the valuable timber resource

Forests are then burnt, killing countless species of animals and plants.

To add to this disastrous picture there are applications to mine in the vicinity of the Tarkine as well!! How bad can it get!

Lets call for a moratorium on the destruction of Tasmanias unique, natural environment NOW!!

This is madness! Destroying completely unique, spectacular, natural places. Beautiful places that people travel from all over the world to see.World heritage standard.

With climate change being a great threat it is critical we preserve what natural areas are left.

These destructive practices, carried out by the ironically titled Sustainable Timber Tasmania provide short term jobs for the few. Supported by a blinkered, short sighted Tasmanian government.

This issue is about saving Tasmanias natural, cultural and biodiversity heritage.

If only Australias politicians had the courage and integrity to do something about this.

For our prescious country, our children and their children.
