On 27 September 2018 the ABC announced a new show called The Set hosted by triple j's Dylan Alcott and Linda Marigliano. It will coincide with Ausmusic Month November 2018. The Set will be bringing viewers live performances from some of the biggest and very best artists of the moment, including Angus and Julia Stone, Vera Blue, Ball Park Music, and The Presets - and they’re bringing their mates! Special guests will pop up throughout the series, all filmed in front of a live audience of 250 people.. The Set will be broadcast each Wednesday at 9:30pm on the ABC from October 31st, The Set will also be on Saturdays from 10pm (starting 3 November), with an extra half hour of live music. Our petition was addressed to Michelle Guthrie, CEO ABC, (and Malcolm Turnbull, PM of Australia, neither currently remain in these positions). Assuming the decision to make this show probably occurred some time ago, it was probably on Michelle Guthrie’s watch.. so thanks Michelle for a great decision !!!!!!!!!!
