As those of you that are following the numbers on the petition will know the aim is to obtain 10,000 signatures, at this point in time we are 2/3 of the way there which I feel is really good in 10 days. What is now required is assistance from those that have provided emails for contact and feedback, from what I can determine about 1 in 10 of those that have signed do leave their email and I am now asking for help to sign up the remaining 1/3, you can help by: Getting family and friends to sign up and ask them to further push the petition to their contacts Promote the petition on social media, especially through ex ADF ans serving military social networks including Facebook. For those of you that are Twitter competent, please do what you can, I'm twitter illiterate. Lastly if you have had major unresolved issues from your time in the military then make contact with the medial, lets not let this opportunity escape. Please make it your personal goal to get 4 more people to sign up. Lastly, for those of you that don't know another serviceman has recently taken his own life, I'm not for one moment going to suggest that if Morrison were to have mentioned veterans welfare it would have made any difference, but what those in need want to see is their leaders fueling the fire, and taking every opportunity promote the cause. This is a worthy petition, having Morrison resign will put veterans issues on the front page around the country, the publicity will generate interest towards ESO's and charities. In fact if veterans can get him to resign it will probably create more interest than if had taken up the cause on Australia Day. Many thanks Geoff
