Update #3

Thanks everyone for signing up and putting in the yards, we have almost 300 signatures which must be good because earlier today I received an email from Change requesting I contact them to help promote the petition to the fists 50 signatures. Can I ask everyone to please continue to contact friends etc to raise awareness regarding the petition, let them know that we are at the 300 mark as there are people that will hold off until it has gathered momentum, this will be a hot topic for a few weeks and really needs to be push hard in it’s early stages. I would also like to thank whoever it was that injected fund from their own pocket to promote the petition. I can’t help but continue to think that such a significant opportunity to promote veterans issues was wasted, the only occurrence that I can think of that compares with Morrisons blatant disregard to promote veterans welfare, is Blameys “Rabbit speech to the 21st Infantry Brigade on 9 November 1942. And I think it can be argued that Morrisons lack of action was worse, as he had gone public with internal military issues when he was at the top of the chain of command when he had every tool available to fix the problem internally, not forgetting that if a digger at the other end had an issue and done the same he would have got crucified.
