We both want the students and staff of Austin Independent School District to reduce the exposure of the new epidemic, also known as, coronavirus. To accomplish this we need a minimum of 2 weeks, 14 days, to allow all people to reduce contagiousness if they have contracted it from a vacation. There is no way that AISD students can prevent this from happening and bringing it back. We cannot risk getting 80,000 plus students sick along with it spreading from student to student and from student to family. This also applies to teachers and staff members of AISD. This 2 week suspension after spring break would allow us to quarantine ourselves and limit the exposure upon others, especially on school buses, classes, etc. 

Resolution: We hold online courses for 2 weeks during this suspension. This would allow teachers to still teach their students and have students access this remotely.
