They will be discussing the TX short term rental bill, HB 2551, TOMORROW April 18. This committee vote is needed to advance the bill. After you send your email, please help more in the following ways! 1) Attend the TX House Committee Meeting on April 18 Showing up at the meeting is the best way to show the committee that you support the bill. The committee meeting is on April 18th. The meeting starts at 10:30 am and we expect the STR bill might be heard around 12 noon, so plan on arriving at 12 noon or before. The TX House Urban Affairs committee will be located in the E2.028 room in the TX Capitol building. There's free parking for 2 hours and it's inexpensive after that in the Texas Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 1201 San Jacinto Blvd Austin, TX 78701. Show up and sign up in SUPPORT of the bill at a kiosk next to the room. We'd love to have as many people there to support the bill and support other members that are providing testimony!
