Ogun State local governments have a long history of missing funds, refused oversight, and whistleblowers being silenced. Recent EFCC probes show ₦10.8 billion meant for councils may have been diverted.

Key facts:

· Audits (2014–2019) found payments without documents, self‑procurement by chairmen.
· Ado‑Odo/Ota chairman suspended for refusing to give account records.
· Ijebu East chairman who exposed “zero allocation” was arrested and impeached.
·  The Ogun State Accountant General is now being questioned by the EFCC over missing billions.

Our demand:
An independent forensic audit of all 20 local government chairmen’s accounts from 2021 to present, with results made public and anyone found guilty prosecuted.
