The Whau Local Board are still waiting to hear from Avanda, the developer in New Lynn who wants to make use of Margan Reserve for roads which will mean the loss of 14 pohutukawa trees in this green belt. Meanwhile, locals are fighting to save the Point England Reserve from development.
