We are slowly inching closer to the truth of what happened in the months leading up to and on January 6, 2021. Hundreds of insurrectionists have been arrested and many prosecuted, Congress’ “January 6 Committee” is collecting testimony and the United States Attorney General, Merrick Garland finally addressed Americans regarding the Department of Justices’ work relating to the violent attack on our Democracy.

Today, marking the anniversary of January 6, President Joe Biden spoke for the first time, of the betrayal to this country by the former President and members of Congress gave speeches recounting their harrowing experience from that day. We can never forget what happened a year ago today and we must continue to demand from our Justice Department, that they hold every single person accountable, from the bottom up, until our Democracy has all the protections it needs to function like our Constitution intended it to do.
