Its been a bad day.Sarah is devastated as are we as the RSPCA Dakabin refused access to the kennel or the run for Sarah and Judith. It was 200 km round trip today and the RSPCA would not allow Sarah or Judith in with Bandit due to light rain prior. Bandit is doing ok but amazingly Claire MCarthy the RSPCA Facility Manager decided it was too dangerous! The Manager also agreed that she forgot to vaccinate Bandit on Wednesday as agreed. So to date Bandit has now had no exercise for 6 weeks after being unlawfully impounded by the Scenic Rim Regional Council and now the RSPCA who took him after a cruelty complaint from us also refuse to exercise him. We requested a vaccination from the Scenic Rim Regional Council and they refused vet access. So now he has been with many dogs in filthy conditions with no vaccination.Our respect for the RSPCA has just dissolved. They now tell us they have no power not to return him to Scenic Rim Regional Council. This is the RSPCA! They keep telling us what a wonderful job they are doing but restrict visitations and exercise of Bandit We are starting to realise the RSPCA have a major conflict of interest by running facilities at Council direction. I spoke to the Local Govt Ministers Office on Friday afternoon and they have written to the Scenic Rim Regional Council Mayor requesting ana explanation for this out of control ongoing torture of Bandit.Thats taken 6 weeks!!
