The current internet in Lehigh Acres is not that great.

The only ISP we have available is CenturyLink, and me personally, I am paying $60 a month for 30 “speed” (They only tell you the download speed, not the upload) and AT BEST I can get 15 download, and 2 upload. Usually I get 10 down 0.5 up. It makes it hard to do things like, watch streaming  services (youtube, netflix, etc), play online games, download & upload files, work from home, school from home, live stream, etc.

This has been an issue for over 10 years. Me personally, have been dealing with it for over 7 years, and I see so many other people (especially new people moving here) that complain about the internet speed and quality.

What I'm trying to achieve with this petition, is to catch the attention of either CenturyLink, or another provider such as AT&T, or Verizon, etc, to get one of them to get better internet in Lehigh. I'm not sure if it requires a new tower, or running some cables, but I hope this can actually make some change.

In these times, we NEED good internet, as I said with the examples earlier. This area is growing, with more people moving in, and more places opening, internet is crucial.
