We, as residents of CityVue Apartments, demand that At Home Apartments reconsider the concerning decision to block access to the lower level of our covered parking garage during the winter months. The closing of half of the current available parking not only presents multiple ADA violations for residents with disabilities along with serious risk of injury and hardship for all tenants. It also removes what for most residents is a crucial feature and was a major motivator for deciding to sign their lease at CityVue Apartments. It goes without saying that covered parking is a feature beneficial almost exclusively in the winter months - yet this is the time of year that At Home Apartments has decided to close it off. The project needs to be rescheduled to begin in the spring.
