Thank you for your support on this petition! Our efforts worked, in that lawmakers agreed an exception is needed...HOWEVER the restrictions and requirements are not trauma informed and provide a dangerous slippery slope to re traumatize and even criminalize victims. 

Sexual Assault Center has extreme objections to lack of trauma informed options presented in the current abortion exception bill, the biggest being the law enforcement requirement and the lack of clarity around what would constitute a “false report”.
