The Issue

As an accountant working with QuickBooks Online, I've experienced firsthand the challenges brought on by recent changes to their platform, particularly the new landing view and report layout. The adjustments have rendered monthly bookkeeping more cumbersome for our CPA firm. The new report format is not only poorly structured but also presents columns in a manner that is neither readable nor easy to navigate. As a result, our firm is compelled to dedicate additional time to tasks that were previously streamlined.  Consequently, we have had to increase our fees to clients to compensate for the added workload.

The previous layout allowed for a seamless workflow where data was easily accessible and interpretable. Unfortunately, the revamped platform has disrupted this efficiency, causing frustration and delays. QuickBooks Online had once been an invaluable tool for accountants and bookkeepers, but these recent changes have compromised its usability and practicality.

The new structure of the reporting tools does not align with the real-world demands of accounting professionals. It lacks the intuitive design that enabled us to deliver timely and accurate financial insights to our clients. We urge QuickBooks Online to listen to its user base and reconsider these modifications.

Reverting to the old landing view and report layout could restore the trust and satisfaction of numerous professionals who rely on QuickBooks to manage financial data. It would demonstrate that Intuit, the parent company, values user feedback and is committed to maintaining a platform that serves the actual needs of accounting practitioners.

Please join us in this call for QuickBooks Online to reinstate the previous interface and reporting format. By signing this petition, you are supporting a movement toward an efficient and user-friendly accounting tool, which ultimately benefits both accounting professionals and their clients.
