The petition of the undersigned shows:

the National Australia Bank has announced its branch closure in Waroona and this will have significant adverse effects on the Town’s vitality and its regional community.

Your petitioners ask that the Senate:

1.      forward this petition to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee inquiry on regional bank closures for its consideration; and

2.      use its best endeavours to prevent regional bank closures, including at Waroona Town, Western Australia.
