But there's one thing Americans can agree on: we all love Dolly Parton. 

And if there is one person who can help increase herd immunity, it's Dolly. That’s why I’m asking Dolly Parton to help unite us all by cutting a public service announcement urging Americans to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Why her?

For starters, Dolly Parton gave $1 million to support vaccine research that could now help us get over this pandemic.

But there’s also a rich history of musicians helping to support the eradication and cure for diseases.

In 1956, when polio ravaged the country, people were scared to take the polio vaccine. Enter Elvis Presley, King of Rock 'N Roll, to reach the youth audience. He agreed to take the vaccine before the press, promoting its safety and effectiveness as part of the March of Dimes campaign. 

In 1979, polio was eradicated in the US thanks to the vaccine and Elvis Presley uniting generations to take the vaccine.

In 2021, we need Dolly Parton, Queen of Country, to unite the political divide to promote the COVID vaccine.

We need more than 50% of the population to take the vaccine to make it effective.

A Dolly Parton PSA can help us increase herd immunity through vaccination. And it can help us end a pandemic that has claimed 250,000 American lives, has stricken millions of others, and has financially impacted tens of millions of Americans.
