Good news: We now have over 1,500 signatures on our petition!

Bad news: The 11 Collier Avenue development is still in process and on the Downtown Commission Agenda for this Friday 8:30 am at City Hall. The agenda is available online. 

Public comment is allowed and encouraged!

Good news: A presentation on the history of the 11 Collier Avenue wood, aka Ravenscroft Reserve, is taking place on Thursday, October 24, 6:00-7:30 pm at the Lord Auditorium in the Pack Memorial Library on Haywood Street in downtown Asheville. Presenters include Dale Slusser of the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County Ravenscroft School connection and South Slope history), Heath Towson (automotive history of Coxe Avenue), Monty Wooten (arborist), Zoe Rhine, and Imke and Inge about the history of the preservation of the 11 Collier Avenue wood.
