ARREST AND PROSECUTE RAYMOND OSEI BOAKYE, JULIUS OPOKU BOATENG & Co.

ARREST AND PROSECUTE RAYMOND OSEI BOAKYE, JULIUS OPOKU BOATENG & Co.
The Issue
Mr. Raymond Osei Boakye (phone number 0247062251) and Mr. Julius Opoku Boateng (phone number 0242160933) group have deceived nearly 3,000 people to contribute approximately One million, two hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS1,200,000) into a fraudulent scheme called DITCH INVESTMENT CLUB under the pretext of paying interests. They have currently failed to return monies received from his investors.
Raymond & co. knew their policy was a dead end scheme that will eventually cost people their monies but they alleviated the fear by giving and maintaining several false assurances thereby increasing their victims' confidence in them.
Among those lies and manipulations were that their business was registered as Rayobotech company limited and Nafko Construction company limited at the registrar general's department and was for investment management.
Most of us wouldn't have joined if not for the assurance of registration and paper work including boasting of having setup a BOARD OF DIRECTORS of "Prominent figures" by Raymond Osei Boakye and his colleagues.
Each member paid upon signing up and a monthly toll of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS50) to qualify to invest money with Raymond's scheme.
With the initial stand-off arising out of non-payment of our principal amounts, Raymond and his group then informed us all the money was converted into the popular BITCOIN and were having challenges exchanging for the Ghana Cedi therefore bitcoin account owners could be paid, this turned out to be a lie because their victims with such bitcoin accounts were never paid upon several requests.
Later they informed their victims they had created a digital currency (DINTCOIN) without mentioning their source of funding initially until matters worsened that they claimed to have used our money for that purpose.
It was realized also, that the digital or crypto currency they created is of no value and that little or no part of the money they collected from their victims was invested in creating their DINTCOIN because their cryptocurrency was in reality a TOKEN raised based on an existing cryptocurrency called Ethereum which means no payment was required to create DINTCOIN.
This made their activities questionable and that was when investigations started only to discover there were no formal registrations, regulations or paperwork attached to their business.
In the heat of victims demanding a return of their monies in July 2018, Raymond and his group managed to convince their victims again, to contribute a further Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS50), though voluntary, to facilitate their way of making prompt payments to the victims which got them another bunch of cash. We realized later that there was actually nothing to pay but only meant to rub salt in our injuries. Below are the channels they used to receive money from their victims;
0557935544, registered as Nana Banor Electricals
0245883218, registered as Nafko Construction and
Julius Opoku Boateng's Barclays account.
That's all we know at the moment.
As schools approach re-opening, most of their victims who are students and have invested their tuition fees into the scheme face serious risks of deferring their various courses if they fail to pay their fees to sit for exams.
His action has cost many people their jobs, families, wrecked marriages, properties, lifetime savings, school fees and others facing possible jail terms and more serious consequences depending on the source of the money they invested in Raymond's scheme.
Raymond and his group have made several promises since April to return the money but have not fulfilled any of those promises.
Raymond Osei Boakye has gone into hiding leaving Julius Opoku Boateng, his chief communicator and next in command, to handle the 3,000 aggrieved victims, all but to a no-end-in-sight tussle.
We have based on our grievances, decided to petition your office to demand that Raymond Osei Boakye, who is a level 300 student of the Pentecost University College in Sowutuom, Accra, and his main accomplice, Julius Opoku Boateng who lives in Sunyani, are arrested immediately, ORDERED TO RETURN OUR MONIES, and charged with defrauding by false pretense and conspiracy to commit fraud since we believe this action is of gross deceitful intent and has traumatized thousands of people in effect.
Thank you Sir.
