These will be the last two updates before I close this petition.
This week I received a decision letter from SIRT-NL to say that they wouldn't investigate the issue of perjury before a Public Inquiry because of a decision rendered by Adjudicator Whalen.
The matter relates to Buckle telling the Inquiry into the Death of Donald Dunphy that he had prior communications about my mental health with my family that gave him legal grounds for a detainment.
The police investigation found that this was a complete fabrication. Zero prior contact with my family occurred other than a call from a different officer to my brother to inquire if I owned a gun, which I did not. No mental health discussions ever took place. The adjudication produced no evidence to support Buckle's statement under oath, and additional testimony was given that directly contradicted his earlier sworn statements. Former Deputy Chief Oates testified himself that his only conclusion after reviewing all the evidence was that Buckle was intentionally lying.
The adjudication process found that Buckle's only real pre-existing knowledge of me was that I'd filed the charges that started this petition. Discussions between the officers involved show they thought the idea of accusing a Canadian political leader of engaging in genocide advocacy was "crazy enough" to warrant a detainment.
Chief Adjudicator Whalen decided otherwise (June 16th, 2025) without giving any justifiable reasons, resigned from his Adjudicator position, and the next day announced his candidacy (June 17th, 2025) for the incumbent Liberal government.
I'm currently awaiting yet another Supreme Court hearing on an associated matter on December 8th, 2025, lead by the RNC PCC. They're seeking a judicial review of an earlier decision by this Adjudicator as similarly unjustifiable.
It's been over a decade since I started this petition against genocidal political rhetoric.
Over a decade since I filed a Charter Challenge in the courts of NL against interpretation clauses in the Canadian Criminal Code regarding prosecuting genocide advocacy.
Over a decade since I was unlawfully detained for expressing my political opinion about Canadian politicians advocating for genocide in Gaza and denied my right to appear on the Charter matter.
Over a decade of delays and distractions and derailments to bury the truth and deny any sort of responsibility or accountability for the violations.
They even forced the Chief of the RNC that was pursuing this as a criminal investigation to resign. [CBC article]
After the 8th of December hearing, I'll be posting one last update on the matter and then closing this petition.
