So I'm left without a lawyer to move on the unlawful detainment. I have a litany of charter breaches, but it's become too complicated at this point. No lawyers are interested, partially because Canada's common law precedence limits what they can earn from an unlawful detainment. The additional home invasion, harassment, enforced disappearance of my child, violation of my rights to free speech and others infringements are considered too much work to argue.
So there you have it, despite the courts ruling that my detainment was unlawful and the police and government violated Charter rights, there is no route to address these issues. The Charter is toilet paper and our judicial system is a useless piece of shit.
The criminal investigation into the officers involved is stalling with ASIRT. They've had it for months now. I tried to reach out to their offices to ask about the matter but they refuse to return my calls.
I'm going to close the door on this. There is no route to continue. No assistance is forthcoming. I'm left to deal with a life where the government essentially set off a bomb in my home and ruined everything, leaving me and my family to pick up the pieces. State-sponsored terrorism at it's finest.
This should be a warning to other people about Newfoundland and Labrador. This province will do it's best to use public funds to subvert the Charter, ensuring there is zero accountability and Charter violations can continue with impunity. Immigrants should avoid this province like the plague. Anyone who manages to escape should stay away. There is a reason the provincial flower is a carnivorous plant. This place tries to lure you in with the intent of trapping you and sucking the life out of you.
