I'd never spoken directly with Don Dunphy. Prior to his death I had sent him one tweet asking him to sign this petition. Upon hearing of his death and the circumstances surrounding it, reading the full context of his tweets and viewing his other interactions, I was among the first to protest his unjustifiable death. As illustrated by the last update, even the official narrative is criminal. A year ago today I was detained in a secure psychiatric ward for a week for my tweets surrounding Don's wrongful death. I wasn't treated or restrained, just legally a non-person with no rights to leave the ward. I was not provided with an opportunity to speak with a Rights Adviser until days later. If not for the fact that my story made it into the local papers through a few phone calls and twitter updates, I would never have gotten access to a lawyer. The whole matter was brought before the Supreme Court of NL on April 10th, one day after the date set aside for my Charter Challenge, effectively denying me the ability to speak in Court and defaming my argument in support of the Rule of Law and fundamental justice by calling it delusional. My detainment also allowed my home to be raided by the RCMP simply because at the moment it was 'unreasonable' to speak with me and they had questions they wanted answered. They seized all my electronics and a private supply of medicine. Next week the issue of the denied habeas corpus goes before the Supreme Courts of NL. My faith in the proper course of justice in NL is currently non-existent. The government and judiciary seem to survive only by continually pleading ignorance. Why then are we allowing ourselves to be ruled by the ignorant?
