Hi I’m Joey, I’m 7 years old. I have brought kinder eggs in the past and I really think the toy and plastic egg should be cut out.

I love the chocolate but not the toy - they are fun for maybe a few minutes but then they end up in the bin or get lost very quickly and will end up in landfill or someplace bad.

When we think about the throw away plastic problem I don’t know why these toys are still made as they have no use. I would rather have the egg and a chocolate surprise!! I think these toys should be banned to help stop the problem and save our planet and all the lovely endangered animals.

It wouldn’t make a difference to us if you could never buy these but it would make a difference to the planet if they were not made. You might think these little things won’t make a difference but when you add them up they make a big difference.

We have just found out that around 100,000kg of these toys are made a day!!! That’s the same as about 20 elephants!! A day!!!! All to end up in landfill or worse!
